The Canyon for Carla

In my small Texas community of Ransom Canyon, a vicious dog attack occurred. With no provocation whatsoever a 100 lb. pit bull easily slipped its collar, was not in control by it's owner, and came at a dead run from about thirty yards up the drive toward Carla, the greyhound. He went straight for Carla's throat getting in perhaps 2 deep bites before Clint (Carla's owner) got him to back off with a loud "No!" and a couple of kicks. Carla went through extensive surgery and is miraculously on the mend. The police officer that was called to the incident did not cite the owner of the dangerous dog and offered it's owner education and counseling on how to keep control of the dog. This dangerous dog still resides in Ransom Canyon.
