Tell the Board to improve St Martin School's JK/SK Playground

With the spring weather approaching, the playground at St Martin school will soon return to its perpetual state as a muddy, mucky mess.

The JK/SK children who play in the area ruin their clothing, destroy their footwear and track mud and dirt into their learning areas. There is no ground cover other than dirt, and water pools in various areas inside the fencing.

Frankly, the area looks like a pigpen. The children and parents, their educators and the school staff are frustrated with this ongoing issue. We want the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board to set necessary funds aside to solve this ongoing problem and improve the children's outdoor play area.

We have so much else to be proud of at St. Martin. However, with the largest JK/SK student population on the south side, our school deserves some funding to fix this eyesore!

Our children deserve a healthy and stimulating place to play! Together we can be a voice to encourage the Board to allocate some funds to improve this area. Please sign your name if you think the Board should provide funding to improve the playground.
