Teachers Should Wear Uniforms

Hayley my 11 Year old daughter said to me this morning "why should I have to wear uniforms if the teachers dont?"

So I said "well dont then if you feel that way" and she replied with "but what about other kids in the School?"

I explained to her next time the teacher tells you to remove your jumper or you will get a blue slip (Dentention) say no and ask why their not wearing school uniforms at school? That the teachers are welcome to ring her mum she supports me.

Hayley said "we are suppose to wear our uniforms to show pride and belonging to the school so the teachers should too!"

I told her that I Agree and support her. So Hayley has decided when the teachers start wearing uniforms she will too.
I SUPPORT HER!

Hayley feels strongly about this after being 1 of those students who had been threatened with a blue slip (Detention) after wearing a non school Jumper to see what would be said, her 12 year old Sister Tahlia feels the same and has asked to take the stand with her Sister with their siblings aged 8, 7 and 6 surely to follow suit.

Hayley's aim is to have teachers lead by example and show pride and belonging to schools too!
