The Strong Dads program has served over 1,000 fathers across Oklahoma. Program participants report stronger relationships with their children, improved communication within their families, greater confidence in their ability to parent, and more hope for the future.
Participants, facilitators, and community partners have witnessed firsthand how Strong Dads strengthens families and benefits children. Programs that support fathers play an important role in promoting healthy child development, improving co-parenting relationships, and strengthening communities.
As decisions are being made about the future of this program, many members of the community want to express their support for the continuation of Strong Dads and the positive impact it has had on Oklahoma families.
We strongly encourage Oklahoma Department Human Services to continue supporting and funding the Strong Dads program. Programs that equip fathers with the tools and support they need to be actively involved in their children’s lives provide lasting benefits for families and communities across Oklahoma.
