Support Tax Equality

Amendment XVI (Ratified February 3, 1913)
"The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration."

Please note the phrase "from whatever source derived" Only if and when we have income equality can the field be level and a true capitalist republic exist. The current system would indicate that income earned by labor is inferior to income earned by capital. Economic equality can only be achieved when ALL "Earned Income" (Wages, Interest, Dividends, and all Capital Gains) is taxed at the same rates.

Equality in taxation would mean that every dollar is equal, without reguard to the earner. The dollar earned by the dockworker is equal to the dollar earned by the CEO of the company that employs him. The first step to Tax Reform is to remove "Classes" from "Earned Income". The preferential treatment of Earned Income Classes makes a mockery of the concept of Equality and fairness. It furthermore causes division between Americans who see that millionaires need only change the "class" of their earned income to lower the taxable rate. The current class based system of taxation impedes equal opportunity economically.

Those who benefit the most from our capitalist system have the unfair advantage of the "class system" to increase their wealth exponentially. This advantage is leveraged by the economy of scale, the more you have the more you are able to move to a preferred class of income. This my friends is one of the government sponsored ways that the "Rich get Richer". But they justify this by telling us that by giving these breaks to the "Job Providers" we will all benefit in the end. I say that I just can't dance to that song any more.

If you see the facts as I do, stand now and be counted, demand a change for economic equality. Equal rights are demonstrated by equal rates.
