Private Alex Stringer who lost three limbs whilst serving in Afghanistan has been told by Thurrock Council that there is a five-year waiting list for a more suitable home.
So as asylum seekers live the life of Riley in million pound luxury mansions, Stringer, his fiancee and two daughters Millie and Harlie-Rose are dumped on the sixth floor. A flat so tiny, Stringer is unable to use his wheelchair. And some people have the nerve to say 'immigration is good for Britain'.
What an insult to our brave lads. Shame on you.
We, the undersigned, call on Thurrock Council to Re-house Private Alex Stringer who lost three limbs whilst serving in Afghanistan. Now Private Alex Stringer is fighting another battle back home – against a housing allocation that has left him trapped in a tiny sixth floor flat.
