PCI Head Start is now being taken over by the City of San Antonio. Lack of communication and partnership is evident. PCI has been in business for over 30years following and obeying by all Federal Regulations.
Head Start Parents, who are low income, will be loosing services. Head Start Staff will be loosing their jobs. As of right now contractors that originally wanted to take over are now backing down after seeing how much work goes into running the centers.
PCI parents, staff and acquaintances of Head Start solely object to the new delegate, the City of San Antonio, taking over PCI Head Start.
We are happy and pleased with services and staff. Why change what is not broken?
