Expressing our sincere respect to Harvard University, its high culture, traditions, and immense contribution to the development of the world civilization, maintenance and promotion of universal human values, as well as its adherence to the principles of the best scientific approaches,

Unswervingly believing in the right of each individual to the pursuit of happiness, enshrined in the Preamble to the United States Declaration of Independence,

Recalling that, as stated in Article 3 of the Northwest Ordinance of 1787, ‘religion, morality and knowledge’ are ‘essential to the happiness of mankind’,

Considering Harvard University’ s role as the embodiment of the fountain of knowledge and the high moral ground on the world stage, and based on Article 3 of the Ordinance, simultaneously, being aware of its position as the keeper of happiness,

With the purpose of highlighting people’s natural desire to realize their dreams and targets, using every chance to attain success, especially if on the top of this is the achievement of happiness itself, –
