Lidl would like to replace its existing store at Dovefields Retail Park in Uttoxeter with a new, modern store on land just off Brookside Road.
The proposals form part of a larger retail development, which also includes a Drive Thru Restaurant and two retail units, and would see the company relocate to the partially disused site just off Brookside Road and adjacent to the Tesco Superstore.
The plans would enable us to provide a much-improved shopping and working experience for our customers and employees, and include:
• A new, modern 1,325 sq m (14,262 sq ft) net sales Lidl store, with 182-space car park including 11 disabled and 12 parent & child spaces
• Lidl’s full range of high-quality products at the lowest possible prices
• A dedicated in-store bakery
• A 169 sq m (1,819 sq ft) Drive Thru Restaurant, with 24 car-parking spaces, including 2 disabled spaces
• Two additional 697 sq m (7,500 sq ft) retail units
• New job opportunities for local people throughout the construction of the proposed store and at the Drive Thru Restaurant and retail units.
We, the undersigned, fully support Lidl’s planning application for the erection of a new Lidl store on land just off Brookside Road in Uttoxeter.
