Golden Hill Health Care Center has been committed to providing quality long term health care and skilled nursing services to the Ulster County community for over 65 years.
They are strongly committed to helping the elderly citizens of our community maintain a comfortable and active lifestyle.
Unfortunately, the city is planning to destroy Golden Hill Heath Care Center, forcing the many citizens who live there to different nursing homes. This will not only cause many people to be relocated to locations far away from their family members but it will also leave several people out of a job.
Consequently, making it extremely difficult for those elderly to see their loved ones and increasing the unemployment rate in the area. Why won't the city rebuild Golden Hill? It is because they choose to spend OUR TAX PAYERS MONEY on a new prison housing the criminals of our community. Instead of spending the money on a new nursing home for people who have worked hard for our community, they decide to spend it on the drug dealers and convicts that have tortured our community. WHY IS THIS?
Perhaps instead of taking a pay raise, our governor, should take a pay cut. Why should the hard working citizens of the community suffer while he sits back enjoying that big pay check of our tax money? Please, show your support for the community and help alter where our tax payers money is being spent. Help make sure the elderly citizens of our community are taken care of the right way.
