An exciting community project is in the development phase; it's called the St Marys Community Space, and it is evolving. In 2015 the St Marys District School were involved in surveying the students and asked what they wanted to see in their community. The result was that the kids wanted a safe space in which to skate and ride their bikes; it has now evolved into an concept for a community space for all ages, with activities planned for all the family. A bbq shelter, a bike track, a skate track, some outdoor gym equipment and disability access basket swings. We need YOUR support.
"We, the undersigned, fully support the St Marys Community Space concept plan. We would like to see this project brought to life.
We agree to our petition data being used to lobby Break O'day Council to assist in the progression of this project and to be used in support of any grant applications for funding.
