Ava Lynn Campbell, age 6 of Pittsburgh, PA, tragically lost her life September 27th, 2015 after she was struck by an alleged underage drunk driver while playing in a front lawn.
The underaged driver admitted to consuming both alcohol and drugs. This was not the offender's 1st, 2nd or 3rd offense. This was his 4th underage driving while intoxicated offense, and it cost Ava her life.
Ava's Law NEEDS to be passed, to ensure that there is a ZERO TOLERANCE policy in regard to underaged drinking and driving.
We, the undersigned, call on both local and national legislature, to create stricter underage drinking laws, proactive and preventative enforcement, and interlock ignition interaction to assist in preventing such a devastating event from occurring again.
