My name is Ivan Volkov, and I am an 8th Grade Student of Arcola Intermediate School, in Methacton School District, in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. I am a 13-year old student who really, really, really hope my fellow classmates will sign this Petition for Amazon to open a second Headquarters in Greater Philadelphia area, and with your signature, to get as many signatures as we can delivered to Jeff Bezos (CEO of Amazon) and his team that is tasked with opening a 2nd Headquarters in the Greater Philadelphia Area. The second corporate headquarters (HQ2), at which Amazon will hire as many as fifty thousand (50,000) new full-time employees with an average annual total compensation exceeding one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) over the next ten to fifteen years, following commencement of operations.
Why sign this Petition? The Goal is to get 5,000 signatures, or more!
Our parents, and relatives, and neighbors, and family's friends may get employed by Amazon, and out neighboring city/county will reap the benefits, too... and, we, the students, one day may work for Amazon without leaving the Greater Philadelphia Area -- our home! Just read here:
