Here at North Carolina Central University, tuition rates are steadily going up, but the resources that are available to students are decreasing.
This year 2014 students were faced with departments closing labs and basically having nowhere to successfully complete their assignments. Parking has been an issue; with the city of Durham cutting where students can park (2 hour limit).
There were limited options to buy a parking decal online; which also campus police didn't inform students that there were more decals available at the business office. Students who pay for parking decals are not guaranteed a parking space... even if they are on campus 30 minutes before class.
