My petition is against the new law that will come into effect December 1, 2009 that bans smoking in all establishments where food is prepared.
The reason I am starting this petition is because the same law was imposed in West Virginia but it was dropped after a petition with 6,000 signatures was presented to the state's House and Senate.
This gives me hope that if a similar petition were presented to those two bodies in Virginia it would have the same effect.
We, the undersigned, call on the Virginia Senate and House of Representatives to abolish the ban on smoking in restaurants in Virginia.
