In light of repeated traffic accidents and injuries in Dornoch Terrace, Highgate Hill
around the Colton and St James Streets intersections, the following residents
humbly petition the Brisbane City Council to make the following traffic alterations
in this area.
We, the undersigned, call on the Brisbane City Council to make the following traffic alterations in Dornoch Terrace:
1. Paint a SLOW 50KPH sign on the westbound side of Dornoch Terrace just
past Dauphin Terrace (like the one in Gloucester Street).
2. Install a 50 sign on a pole in this area
3. Install a TURNING TRAFFIC sign just to the west of these, before the right-
hand bend in Dornoch Terrace.
4. Make St James Street one way downhill from Dornoch Terrace. There would
need to be a NO THROUGH ROAD sign at the corner of Paradise and St James
Streets, with a NO ENTRY sign facing drivers travelling north in St James Street just before the left-hand bend to Dornoch Terrace.
