Xplornet is about to do some heavy capping as of SEPT 1ST 2011. I thought when BELL gave up on UBB that Xplornet would back down as well. Instead they have come up with a new new plan 3 levels of service. Bandwidth based not speed based ie 10gb,20gb,30gb.
This from a company who toted there packages as unlimited. When I signed a 3 year contract I asked the question whether there were any bandwidth limitations and I was told no.
Just look at www.xplornetsucks.com they say it all but have no petition to sign. Xplornet was heavily subsidized by the feds to install a cross canada rural network. Instead of building their own network they bought up a lot of small wisp's (their own competition) to achieve this.

shows new 10 gb monthly cap and $3.80/gb overage charges. Going from worse to insane. Especially since bell backed down on UBB yesterday.
Stop xplornet from instituting Bandwidth caps on the network we all paid for with our tax dollars.
It's time for us to draw a line in the sand and demand the service we were sold!
