Petition to End the Government Shutdown

We, the undersigned citizens of the United States, demand an immediate end to the government shutdown. Our elected officials were chosen to serve the people, not to hold our livelihoods hostage over party disputes and political games. Every day this shutdown continues, ordinary Americans bear the cost—families without paychecks, veterans without support, and communities left hanging while Congress argues.

This is not leadership. It is negligence.
We remind every member of government: you work for us. Your duty is to keep this nation running, not to use it as leverage for power or ego.

We call for both parties to put aside their differences, reopen the government immediately, and focus on the responsibilities you swore to uphold. The American people are tired of being the shit end of the stick while politicians bicker. Enough is enough.
