This development (Jellyfish Theatre) will directly contravene the Southwark Plan 2007 policy 3.26 for the following reasons;
A) It is not ancillary to the use of this open space.
B) It does detract from the site’s open nature and character;
C) It is not required to enhance activities associated with this particular open space, on the contrary, it will significantly detract from said activities,
D) It does not positively contribute to the setting or quality of this particular open space.
We, the undersigned, call on Southwark Council to deny the planning permission (ref: 10/AP/1064) for the temporary redevelopment of Marlborough Playground.
