There is a mobile home park being installed 6100 county road 4 Boaz, AL. in the Aroney community. We want construction stopped. There is no job board, nor have I been able to locate a plan of action or plans awaiting approval for this park as required by the local and state government. The property is owned by Sand Mountian Development LLC of 4154 Brow Road, Boaz, Alabama 35956. The stripped land is also allowing storm water to run into local creek without any form of filter or catch.
By signing this petition we the community want to stand and be heard. We do not want, favor or encourage the park being place in our community. We are looking for a call to action to stop any possible zoning changes, and encourage the proper authority to pass a ordinance restricting this or any other like park or other alike, be only installed once the community approves. We this community neither want nor desire the depreciation of land values, nor the onset problems that will arise due to the park installation.
