Recently there has been news about payoffs by a taxpayer slush fund. These funds were used to payoff lawsuits. It is time to give that money back to the taxpayers, make government officials found of wrongdoing to pay for their indiscretions, just like the rest of us have to.
It is time that the elected officials to start living under the same conditions the rest of the public does.
We the undersigned, call on the United States Congress to stop the taxpayer funded "Slush Fund" that is used to pay off lawsuits.
This slush funds has eliminated transparency in the government. Taxpayers also have the right to know who has availed themselves of this "slush fund so we can be informed voters.
