AT&T and American Tower Corporation have submitted an application to the City of Milton to place a 140 foot Cell Tower on the Stars Soccer Club property on Birmingham Highway.
Please join us in our fight against AT&T and American Tower constructing this intrusive tower which will forever change the landscape of Milton. If this tower is permitted in this residential neighborhood, your neighborhood could be next.
This decision, regarding this Cell Tower, will impact us and OUR COMMUNITY for decades.
WE, the undersigned residents of the City of Milton, Georgia attest we are in opposition to the installation of the 140 foot Cell Tower on the property of Stars Soccer Club at 14295 Birmingham Highway Milton, Ga. We call on the City Council to DENY this application for the Cell Tower.
Impacted residents in the neighborhoods have no substantial gaps in coverage with their carriers which include AT&T.
This 140 foot monstrosity in not consistent with the character of the surrounding neighborhoods. We want the City of Milton to protect against this visual blight and the damage to our communities' aesthetics.
We understand federal courts have ruled municipalities have no obligation to allow these CellTowers anywhere within its borders when no substantial gap in coverage exists.
We believe AT&T and American Tower should be required to explore less intrusive means, alternative locations away from all of Milton's residential neighborhoods, and they should explore alternative technologies which are being used elsewhere around the country.
