Town hall bosses plan to shrink down the size of the city’s bins by over 40 per cent - from 240 litres capacity to just 140 litres.
From August the town hall intends to start replacing household’s existing general waste bins with the smaller versions.

Many of us struggle with the bins we have and there current size, especially with children as we have extra waste of nappies etc. Black bins are currently being emptied every 2-3 weeks which is not enough. Myself and I'm sure many others have to make extra trips to the tip.
If you want to keep your current bin size then please help and sign this petition.
