The Antelope Valley Los Angele's County Sheriffs are always harassing and stopping African Americans and Latinos, for little or no reason at all, except for the color of their skin. There has been and atmosphere of fear and intimidation on the African American and Latino communities.
Random police calls are always occurring of which results in the arrest of a Latino or a African American person. We feel that these arrest are uncommonly high and are disproportionate to our numbers in the Los Angele's County Antelope Valley.
We believe and know that there has been an increase of racial profiling since the election of Mayor Rex Paris and his cohorts and other elected official.
We thee peaceful African American and Latino Community of Los Angele's County Antelope Valley do hereby Affirm and attest that there has been a systematic attack on our communities civil liberties, by the law enforcement agency of the Antelope Valley namely the Los Angele's County Sheriff Department, and its cohorts’ to deny every African American and Latino citizens the rights guarantee under United States Constitution Bill of Rights Fourth Amendment, which protects every American citizen against unlawful search and seizure.
We Believe and Know that this has been a deliberate act created by the now policy maker of Los Angele's County Antelope Valley City counsel namely the Mayor Offices, of “racial profiling” and targeting its African American and Latino citizens.
We the undersigned do now call for and Immediate release from these policies and practices and do hereby request and seek a investigation to be conducted by United States Attorney Generals office so say we all.
