Moreton Bay Council is proposing to demolish the concrete structure at the end of Tapir Street, opening up access by road to our estate from Hughes Road East over the Christmas Holidays.
As residents of Sanctuary on Alma estate we are already dealing with unwanted traffic and parking because people living outside our estate use the top end of our estate and our front yards as a school parking lot to drop the kids to Northpine Christian College.
Opening up Tapir Street will mean increased traffic with people cutting through our estate and will encourage more people to use our streets and yards as a parking lot.
