Good morning All,
You may have seen on the news last night that the Lee County Commission has now decided not only to do away with the satellite dumpster service the county currently has in place, but to also create a monopoly on businesses that can operate in Lee County and provide household trash service. The County has selected an out of town service provider with a very subpar customer review rating, Arrow Disposal Services. It was then decided after bidding has closed and award was made, to introduce an exclusivity clause. This means that the County Commission is now trying to enforce Arrow Disposal as your ONLY option for garbage disposal. I know that many of you have been customers of ours for 10 – 15 years, while some others are newer to our customer family.
We intend to fight for not only our right and the rights of the other local businesses to operate, but for your freedom of choice. We do not feel it is fair to take competition out of the marketplace. Anytime you do, it puts the customers at the mercy of the forced option. If your only option is a company offering less than par service to its existing clients, what do you think will happen to the service quality going forward, knowing that you have no other choice?

I request that the Lee County Commission allow the residents to CHOOSE THEIR OWN PROVIDER for garbage collection and disposal services.
I DO NOT agree that the county should force a monopoly upon its residents, when existing service providers have been operating successfully for more than a decade, with a clear track record of success and customer satisfaction.
