I think businesses are using long term backgrounds to prevent gainful employment within certain cultures. Businesses are going back 15 and 30 years on people who have had problems with the law.
The law has destroyed lives of people who is trying to make a living. If they feel that a person so dangerous to this society then they should not be in society. But allow people to work without these long background checks of something that has been done 15 and 20 years ago.
How many times must a person be incarcerated without being incarcerated?
We, the undersigned, call on congress and the state representer to eliminate background checks that go over 5 years. Any businesses who use a background check service cannot use anything over 5 years.
The background check cannot lawfully disclosed any thing over 5 years, only if the applicant is still on probation or parole, this information can be disclosed up to 7 years.
