Stop Hoon Vehicles in Surfers Paradise

Residents of Surfers Paradise are forced to endure hoon vehicles driving through the streets at all times of the day and night. Often fitted with modified and most likely illegal exhaust systems many of these vehicles emit such loud noise that it sounds like gunshots being fired into the buildings as they drive. At times the sound is terrifying. Other vehicles often travel at such high speed through the streets that it is little wonder that there are more fatal accidents in the area.

Many residents have reported these vehicles to Queensland Police and yet nothing has changed. The vehicles continue to be heard and observed at almost any hour of the day.

It is time that Queensland Police conduct an operation or series of operations to rid Surfers Paradise of these dangerous vehicles for good.
