The Evil Fred Phelps and his Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kansas, USA have spent years preaching hate. Holding signs such as 'Thank God for 9/11' and 'God Hates Fags'.
Phelps and his 80 member congregation regularly protest at funerals of dead members of the military and recently proposed the building of a monument featuring the image of murdered Matthew Shepard impying that Matthew is now in hell.
The Westboro Church are disrupting some of the hardest times in peoples lives by picketing funerals - even the funeral of the murdered amish children. This needs to be stopped. This petition will be passed on to all levels of US Government involved.
We, the undersigned, are calling on the US Government to stop the Westboro Church from preaching hate and picketing funerals.
