The UK media seem to be obsessed with the American election primaries. Most Americans do not even know who the British Prime Minister is, so what is the justification for 100s of hours of news coverage given to the run up to the American election.
THIS COVERAGE IS AT THE EXPENSE OF MORE IMPORTANT WORLD ISSUES WHICH ARE BEING IGNORED BY THE MEDIA.
We the undersigned call upon the BBC and other news media to stop the excessive coverage of American elections because we are not interested.
We urge news media organisations to stop the 100s of hours of coverage and concentrate on more important world issues which are being ignored.
