Sergeant's Nature's Guardian Flea products for cats and dogs are marketed as being a safe, all-natural solution to flea and tick problems. While the essential oils in these products do tend to kill/repel these pests, the oils themselves are NOT SAFE for animals!
Cats in particular are adversely affected by the essential oils. The oils are filtered through the small feline liver and the toxins build up causing liver failure. There are several forum posts on the internet from pet owners whose pets had violent adverse reactions to these products including but not limited to hair loss, seizure, and death. Awareness must be raised about the danger of these so-called safe products. PLEASE...help STOP the distribution of this hazardous product!!
