We the people of South Africa, as represented by the undersigned citizens, demand that the Government of this country heed our call for the following:
1. The IMMEDIATE release of all persons charged with Possession and/or Dealing in Dagga as defined by the Prohibited Substances Act.
2. The immediate suspension of all Dagga prosecutions on the citizens of this country.
3. The recognition of Traditional Healers pertaining to the use of Cannabis treatments for medicinal reasons, as legitimate contributors to the health of South Africa.
4. The structuring of a regulatory system that is fair and beneficial to all South Africans pertaining to the regulation of Cannabis, not just the few corporate entities.
5. A moratorium be placed on unconstitutional raids on citizens private premises, who make a free choice to use it as a medicine for personal use.
6. The immediate halt of the arrest of sick and terminally ill people who have no other choice.
7. The unconditional withdrawal of all charges against Lawrence Khun and all other traditional healers charged with Dagga related offences.
This issue is no longer open for debate, we the people have spoken. We are tired of being persecuted by a government we elected. We are tired of being treated as drug users/dealers. We are tired of living in fear of using a plant that God gave us.
