Cancer patients have to pay between $800 and $3 000 for a wig made out of real hair and they shouldn't need to because they can't help that chemotherapy removes their hair. Along with synthetic wigs costing between $30 and $500. If people are donating their hair, the cancer patient shouldn't have to pay so much for something they need. These people are already going through enough and have enough things to pay for that they shouldn't have that on top of it.
We, the undersigned, call on the Canadian Cancer Society to stop making cancer patients pay for wigs made out of donated hair.
