BSL is breed selection legislation. It is unfair to make everyone with a dog 50lbs or above get rid of their dogs. Small dogs are just as ferocious as big dogs. It's all on the owner and how they are raised not the dog.
Every dog has instincts and if provoked then it is the persons fault not the dog. If it feels threatened it will attack.
Humans have the same instincts as these dogs. Why should the innocent bullies be put down because of those who can not control their dog?
We need to end BSL for these animals. If the owner has not done research and can not handle the animal then whose fault is that? not the dogs. If the animal is mistreated and misbred who's liable for that? surely not the dog.
It is unfair that all responsible pet owners have to give up their animals because of irresponsible pet owners. Why should we along with our dogs suffer from this? BSL needs to stop!
