The Charlotte has a lot of young skaters, and BMX riders. The only problem is there are very few areas to skate.
To solve this problem I recently spoke with the city planner and he said if we got 150 signatures they would build a skatepark.
Skateboarding is frowned upon in downtown Charlotte. It is a positive activity to keep youth off the streets. There are many local pros available to help young skateboarders master the skill. It will be a concrete style park.
