Presently there are two Earnings Limitation Caps imposed on retirees.
One cap is for those early retires 62-64.
The other cap is for those who have reached age 65, but have not reached full age retirement depending, on the year you were born.
If you continue to work you need to pay back the Social Security Administration if you go over either cap.
The following Bill will repeal the caps and allow you to work & keep your Social Security without paybacks.
We, the undersigned, urge you to sponsor and pass
H.R. 149 - SOCIAL SECURITY REPEAL ACT OF 2007.
To amend title II of the Social Security Act to remove the limitation upon the amount of outside income which an individual may earn while receiving benefits under such title, and for other purposes.
