Please support this petition to either 1) reduce the speed limit on highway #3 Arcadia or 2) post traffic signs.
CARS ARE DRIVING TOO FAST IN THIS AREA. There are no longer school zone signs, but there are still many children living in this community and many who still visit the Arcadia school playground to play.
A lower speed limit and "children playing" and/or "autistic child" are needed because there are a number of children under the age of 13 who play outdoors, cross the street, go to the playground and simply enjoy their neighborhood. Cars travelling in this area frequently pass other cars along this stretch and often will not stop to let the children cross the street. Let's be proactive and prevent a tragedy or injury before it happens. We love our children and do not want to see them hurt or scared to play in their yards!
