Shelter For Street Sleepers In South Carolina

This petition is NOT meant to assign blame. Rather, it's a call for major changes to get all homeless off the streets of charleston, sc and surrounding counties in 2021.
My name is Denise Tolbert, and i'm going to make a difference in my city, with the help of the human community, including the leaders of South Carolina.
In 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic forced many businesses to close, thus leaving thousands without jobs, and without the ability to pay rent\mortgage. 
Homelessness is a critical situation in Charleston County and surrounding counties. The numbers have more than doubled than that of 2019, and many families are now sleeping on the streets during all weather. 
As a resident of Charleston, South Carolina, I recognize the need for a homeless shelter and I am petitioning the state of South Carolina to work with me, to create and support a homeless shelter within the three counties mentioned above, of which I will own and operate, as a non-profit organization. 
The mission is to open an inclusive homeless shelter, especially for families and veterans, in March 2021, before the summer heat arrives.
I request the state take an active part in the initiative, including providing as a donation, a location of atleast a 50,000 sqft building, and cover licensing and permit fees, and any additional financial support available for this cause. 
Human Services needs must receive top priority. TVSC will offer over 10 different kinds of Social Services at the shelter, designed to empower clients, resulting in self-sufficiency.
