Tesco Ltd at Jubliee Way South Mansfield have submitted planning to erect 2 x 35ft Micro Wind Turbines in the car par to the front of their store. The location of the turbines will overlook residents houses.
The erection of these wind turbines will be placed next to the petrol garage and in front of Argos.
Local residents support Tesco going 'Green' whilst it helps with the cost of thee stores utility bills but has no benefit to the local community except loss of view and a loss of sales on houses, certainly a topic of conversation for the years barbeques!
We the undersigned call on Tesco Ltd to reject the idea of placing 2 x wind turbines as planned for or to rethink the location the Wind Turbines to a location that will not affect and infringe on local residents properties.
