For 80 years the bowling club has been part of our community. Our principles are clear, keep the club open to All, make it affordable to All, make our sports and entertainment open to All, contribute to our society, embrace the National Sports Development Charter.
Yet the City treats as as squatters, and have given us a months notice to vacate after they rejected a caste iron tender. THEY DECIDED BEFORE THE TENDER WENT OUT. This stinks - its government at its most [IN-TRANSPARENT] - WE MUST NOT TAKE THIS ANYMORE.
Please sign our petition. Vote for bowls to stay for another 80 years - being part of the community, being among a huge group of friends, playing a game, listening to some LIVE music - eating some affordable food.
