Wrexham Council currently funds school crossing patrols, play areas and community centres. It has told community councils that, unless they or voluntary organisations pay for them, they will be axed within six months.
We want to protect our local community services and call on the council to first look at savings such as leading councillors' allowances (increased £100,000 a year) and the mayor's office (c£150,000 a year).
Please sign our petition to send a clear message to the Council - save our services!
