The London Licensed Cab Trade has been going for 380 years, during which it has served the public of London faithfully and safely. Each driver having been examined by a strict board and his history checked for any criminal activity.
The London Cab driver has over many years earned the trust of the public in as much children have been sent by cab unaccompanied to destinations all over London. Recognised by visitors from all over the world as a part of London's history. With the coming of Uber an unlicensed rabble of drivers some of who have already been charged with rape is this the way to protect London's name as a safe city?
Please sign this petition to ban Uber from our streets, before it is too late. Some one in government is making money from this for their own ends.
We the undersigned call upon the Prime Minister of this country to save part of our history and support the London Cab trade and ban Uber.
