Save the limbs of the historical live oak trees that hangover in a canopy over Hwy 604 in Pearlington MS

The state of MS (MDOT) is cutting the limbs that hang over the road way on Hwy 604. We as residents of Pearlington MS must come together to petition the limbs from being butchered. These beautiful limbs that create a canopy that hang over the road are a part of live oak trees that are over 200 years old. This canopy of limbs create a majestic entrance into our town and are a special part of the scenic byway that belongs to logtown. The state considers that part of Hwy 604 as a tourist attraction to the scenic byway to space so they must listen to our plea to not cut the limbs of these historic trees. We the people must protect our historical environment that makes Pearlington so special!
