Horse owners at Concord West are being ordered to rehome their horses away from the inner west. The Yaralla Estate in Concord West is a one-of-a-kind location that is valued by the community. Part of what makes it so special is that it is home to around 30 horses in an area so close to the city.
Local residents have, for my years, enjoyed the opportunity to visit the paddocks, introducing children to horses in an area they would often not have the chance, as well as providing a unique atmosphere of peace and tranquility so close to the city.
A further concern is that when the horses have been kicked out, what will stop the grounds being developed into something that is not community friendly?
Please help us keep these beautiful animals in their homes.
