The Garment District on 200 Broadway is a thrift store in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Even though the building is very old, it has still become a localwide landmark for many years.
The store is a very well-known place to go for vintage clothing, Halloween costumes and other great finds.
If luxury apartments sprout up where the Garment District stands, then Cambridge will lose part of what makes this a great city: History.
By making the building a historical landmark, the store will continue to strive and keep running throughtout our present generation and our future generation to come.
We, as Garment District consumers and fans ask that the building not be torn down to build luxury apartments, but to keep the building the way it is and thrive and continue to be a part of Cambridge's history.
