The Corner Cafe is a small family business that has been in operation for the last 14 years. Their existing lease contains a five year extension starting in 2015.
The owners of this business were verbally promised by high ranking officials of the property management group on multiple occasions that their business would be safe, even with all of the additions being made to the shopping center.
After investing well over $50,000 of their own money to update the restaurant, KRAVCO LLC reneged on their promise and has told the Corner Cafe that they will not be honoring the extension and their lease will come to an end in January. They are to vacate the premises.
We, the undersigned, call on KRAVCO LLC to honor its promise and to exercise the five year option on The Corner Cafe's current lease.
