The City of Abbotsford has announced plans to eventually remove the beloved boardwalk that runs through our cherished Mill Lake Park. This boardwalk has been a significant part of our community for decades, providing not only a peaceful space for recreation but also a connection to nature and the environment.
For decades, the boardwalk has been used by individuals and families to walk, jog, bike, or simply enjoy the beauty of our park. It has become a central part of our community, serving as a place where people of all ages come together to connect with nature, take in breathtaking views, and create lasting memories.
Join me in my fight to save the boardwalk!!
We, the undersigned, call on the City of Abbotsford to halt the removal of the boardwalk in Mill Lake Park and to preserve this vital community space for current and future generations. The boardwalk is an irreplaceable part of our park, providing access to nature, promoting physical and mental well-being, and serving as a gathering place for families, residents, and visitors.
We urge the City to explore alternative solutions and work with the community to protect this beloved part of our heritage.
