Axolotls are a critically endangered species that need saving. Axolotls are under developed salamanders that have the potential to save thousands of lives due to their amazing resistance to cancer. In fact, they are over 1,000 more times resistant to cancer than any mammal in the world. This makes them the most studied amphibian. Although Mexico has already taking steps like, making a law that no person can take a wild Axolotl from the only lake where they live in the wild, People still pollute the lake by throwing trash in the lake. We should petition to set laws against throwing trash in Lake Xilomilco to save the Axolotls!
We, the undersigned, ask the Mexican government to ban from polluting Lake Xilomilco in Mexico
