Tere Liye is a TV show, airing on Star Plus, that explores the strong but intangible emotion of ‘selfless’ love between the protagonists Anurag and Taani. This much speculated and eagerly awaited show started its journey on the 14th of June 2010.... The very first shot of this show gave the viewers an entirely unexpected feel...

Viewers were impressed by Tere Liye in the very first episode itself, and many got totally hooked onto it in the very first week! However, a certain track decided by the Production House (Balaji Telefilms) did not go well with the audience and garnered a negative response from viewers, as it seemed to shake the essence of the show!This led to a dip in the ratings which were on a high.The channel and production house are known to be having lot of creative differences since quite long, and now this has been affecting the ratings of late.Star Plus has always been giving step-motherly treatment to this show with no promotions at all!

Of late, Star Plus revealed nominations for Star Parivaar Awards 2011 and conveniently skipped to nominate Tere Liye in any of the categories, inspite of the characters and the show being deservant! And ow, the channel has gone another step forward and has placed Tere Liye under the scanner giving it a time frame till the conclusion of IPL.

We, the viewers and fans of Tere Liye have been taking up the injustice for so long, but now it is way too much since our favourite show will be suffering because of the differences between the channel and Balaji Telefilms.

We demand Star Plus to re-announce the Star Parivaar Awards 2011 nominations and include Tere Liye in it! We don't want Tere Liye to be axed when it has potential in terms of concept, story, characters as well as the talented cast!
