Al Jazeera English is now receiving more attention than ever and high accolades for its coverage of the recent historic events in the Arab world. Riz Khan as "The Face of Al Jazeera" has been a leader on the English network since its inception in 2005.
In this context, it comes as a shock to those of us a part of Al Jazeera English's global audience that the daily live "Riz Khan" show is now set to be cancelled from the end of this April, and the acclaimed weekly "Riz Khan's One on One" profile series will end this summer.
